6 Best Tailors in Silom Bangkok: Complete Area Guide
This guide ranks the best tailors in Silom, Bangkok’s financial district and the city’s second-most prestigious tailoring destination after Sukhumvit. Silom’s tailors serve executives, bankers, diplomats, and business travelers staying at Lebua, State Tower, Royal Orchid Sheraton, and other five-star riverside properties. The best tailors in Silom deliver premium bespoke work with pricing that starts from $150 for full canvas construction, with express 12 to 72 hour turnarounds designed for tight business itineraries.
My rankings below are based on in-person visits, scored on craftsmanship, fabric selection, service, value, and consistency. For citywide pricing benchmarks, see the Bangkok tailor price guide. To avoid tourist traps common in this area, read the Bangkok tailor scams guide before your first visit. For a walkthrough of the full commissioning process from consultation to final pickup, the step-by-step tailoring guide covers what to expect.
Silom is Bangkok’s financial district, and I’ve spent a lot of time here, not just for the tailors, but because it’s genuinely one of the more civilised parts of the city to be measured for a suit. Over the past year, I walked into all six of the top-ranked Silom tailoring shops, sat through fittings, asked uncomfortable questions about canvas construction, and came away with a wardrobe my bank account is still recovering from.
This guide is the result. It’s different from the other Silom tailor lists because I’m not a marketing team, and nobody paid for placement. I’ll tell you what genuinely impressed me, and I’ll also tell you what annoyed me: the hotel-lobby convenience that turns into a crowd, the showrooms that feel like concessions rather than independent houses, the fabric upselling that catches you off guard. That’s the stuff that actually matters when you’re handing over $250 or $1,200. Also, see my 30 Best Tailors in Bangkok rankings.
A quick personal disclosure: I’m not affiliated with any of these shops. I paid for almost everything I ordered. My bias, if I have one, is toward tailors who are honest about pricing and don’t try to sell me fabric I don’t need. Prices are in USD and were accurate as of mid-2026.

Why Silom Anchors Bangkok’s Business Tailoring Scene
The best tailors in Silom aren’t just conveniently located, they’re woven into the fabric of Bangkok’s financial and diplomatic life. For over five decades, this district has served the executives, ambassadors, and international business travelers who need premium bespoke work with reliable turnaround. The result is a tailoring scene defined by seriousness of purpose: conservative styling, technical construction quality, hotel pickup services, and the discretion that professional clientele demand.
Silom’s rise as a tailoring hub tracks directly with Bangkok’s development as a Southeast Asian financial center. The district hosts many of the city’s major bank headquarters, embassy row along Wireless Road, and legacy five-star properties like State Tower (Lebua), the Royal Orchid Sheraton, and Mandarin Oriental. These institutions created an ecosystem where tailors serving discerning international executives could refine their craft to global standards while remaining accessible to hotel guests.
Today the best tailors in Silom occupy prime addresses along Silom Road, Charoen Krung Road, and the sois connecting them to the Chao Phraya River. This concentration means business travelers can walk from their hotel to a fitting, then return to a meeting nearby, without ever navigating Bangkok traffic. It’s a compact luxury infrastructure that most global cities cannot match.
Silom Tailoring at a Glance
The Unique Advantages of Silom’s Tailoring District
🏦 Business-First Service Model
The best tailors in Silom have refined their operations around the specific needs of business travelers: express 12 to 72 hour turnaround, complimentary hotel pickup and delivery, digital measurement storage for international reordering, and the ability to schedule fittings before or after work meetings. Unlike shopping-focused districts, Silom tailors treat commissioning a suit as a professional transaction rather than a tourist experience.
🏨 Riverside Luxury Hotel Ecosystem
Silom and neighboring Bang Rak host some of Bangkok’s most iconic five-star properties. Lebua at State Tower, the Royal Orchid Sheraton, Mandarin Oriental, and Peninsula Bangkok are all within walking distance of the top-ranked tailors in Silom. This proximity is not incidental. Om Fashion (#1) and Suit Tailor Silom – Sam Bespoke (#3) both operate from within the Royal Orchid Sheraton, and Eternal Bespoke Tailor (#5) sits directly under State Tower. Hotel guests can commission a full wardrobe without ever leaving the block.
🚇 Dense Public Transit Network
Silom is one of the few Bangkok neighborhoods served by both BTS and MRT. BTS Sala Daeng and Chong Nonsi cover the Silom Road spine, while MRT Silom, Sam Yan, and Hua Lamphong extend access into the Chinatown and Chao Phraya riverside. This dense connectivity means the best tailors in Silom are reachable from anywhere in central Bangkok in under 20 minutes.
🎩 Heritage Craftsmanship Concentration
Silom is where you find the tailors who have quietly served embassies and multinational headquarters for decades. Many of the Silom master tailors have deep expertise in full canvas construction, hand-finishing, and the technical details that separate genuine bespoke from marketed bespoke. See the anatomy of a bespoke suit guide to understand what to look for.

The Best Tailors in Silom: Full 2026 Rankings
Ranked and reviewed on craftsmanship, fabric quality, service, and value, with my honest pros and cons from visiting each shop in person
Om Fashion Bespoke Tailor
Location: Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel 1 Floor, 2 Charoen Krung Road Soi 30, Khwaeng Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500
When it comes to finding a quality tailor in Silom, Om Fashion is the one I recommend most often, and not just because it’s convenient. Situated directly inside the lobby of the Royal Orchid Sheraton, it has built a reputation for accessible pricing, 2-3 day turnaround, and hotel-based convenience that genuinely suits business travelers on tight itineraries.
✅ What I loved
The location itself is a genuine differentiator. For hotel guests, that means walking downstairs after a meeting and starting a fitting without a single taxi ride. Bespoke suits start from $175, which sits at the accessible end of the Silom market, competitive without pushing into the too-cheap-to-trust territory that raises red flags in Bangkok. The fabric library covers lightweight wool for Bangkok’s humidity, cotton and linen for warm-weather travel, and wool blends for cooler climates. Custom shirts from around $45 and trousers from $65 make it possible to build a complete wardrobe in one visit. Open seven days a week (Mon to Sat 10 AM to 9 PM, Sun until 6 PM), which is genuinely useful.
⚠️ What to watch out for
The hotel-lobby setting cuts both ways. On my visit during peak season, the shop felt more like a busy concession than an independent house; there were other clients waiting, and the fitting area is not particularly private. Because it’s inside a five-star hotel, prices carry a slight premium over nearby Charoen Krung options; you’re partly paying for the address. And while the entry-level fabrics are fine, the real quality kicks in at the $250+ level, so the $175 suits are basic. I also found the fabric selection a bit limited compared to standalone Silom shops; don’t expect the same depth as Woolrich or Bangrak Bespoke.
🏅 Category Winner: Best Overall & Best Hotel-Based Silom Tailor
Woolrich Bespoke Tailor
Location: 212/4 Silom Road Soi 14, Surawongsi, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500
Woolrich is the one I recommend to people who message me at 11 PM saying “I land tomorrow and need a suit by Friday.” They open late, they work fast, and, impressively, the quality doesn’t collapse under the speed.
✅ What I loved
The 24-hour express option is real, not marketing, and when the clock is truly against you they’ve turned garments around in as little as eight hours. The shop has recently doubled in size, adding a new display and measuring room, and the expanded space matches a service that’s hard to fault. Every garment comes with a one-year warranty; if something goes wrong and it can’t be fixed, they remake it from scratch, and alterations are free. Your measurements stay on file, so repeat orders can be placed remotely from anywhere in the world with international shipping. Prices land firmly in the accessible-luxury bracket, arguably the best value bespoke in Bangkok right now. It’s also one of the few tailors in town cutting custom polo shirts, and the premium leather belts by the counter are worth adding to the order.
⚠️ What to watch out for
The shop is on Silom Soi 14, a short but slightly awkward walk from the main Silom Road, and the storefront is easy to miss. The late hours (until 11 PM) are great for travelers, but I found the staff sometimes running on fumes by evening; my late-night fitting felt a bit mechanical. There’s also no Sunday closure, which means the shop never gets a proper rest day, and I noticed a slight drop in energy on my Sunday visit. Cash is preferred; card payment carries a small surcharge in my experience. And while the express service is genuinely fast, the entry-level fabric selection is limited at the $250 price point.
🏅 Category Winner: Best 24-Hour Express Luxury Suits
Suit Tailor Silom – Sam Bespoke
Location: Ground Floor, Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel, Charoen Krung Rd, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500
Sam Bespoke is the newest entrant to the Silom elite tier, and it’s already earning its spot. Located on the ground floor of the Royal Orchid Sheraton, it’s technically a separate operation from Om Fashion (which is on the first floor), but they share the same hotel, which means if one is fully booked, you can often walk to the other.
✅ What I loved
The genuine 12 to 24 hour express suits are among the fastest in Bangkok, ideal for same-day departures. Standard 100% wool bespoke suits start from $250 with a full fitting included. The tiered wardrobe packages, Best, Premium, and Luxury Combo, are genuinely useful if you’re rebuilding a rotation in one visit. The shop is open daily 10 AM to 9 PM and WhatsApp-friendly for planning ahead, and it covers men’s and women’s tailoring across all package tiers. The ground-floor location is slightly easier to find than Om Fashion’s first-floor spot.
⚠️ What to watch out for
The hotel-based location means the shop feels like a concession rather than an independent house. Space is small, and during peak times the fitting area can feel cramped. I also found the fabric selection a bit thinner than Woolrich or Bangrak Bespoke; if you’re after premium Italian or British mills, you may need to ask specifically. And while the 12-hour express is impressive, I’d caution against it unless you’re genuinely desperate; you’ll get one fitting instead of the ideal two to three, which increases the risk of fit issues around the shoulders and trouser break. The shop is newer, which means fewer long-term references, a small risk factor if you’re investing in a big order.
🏅 Category Winner: Best Bespoke Wardrobe Packages
Bangrak Bespoke Tailor
Location: 1346 Thanon Charoen Krung, 42 Alley, Suriya Wong, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500
Bangrak Bespoke is on Charoen Krung Road, one of the most convenient shops in the city if you’re staying riverside. They offered to do my fitting at my hotel, I took them up on it, and the whole thing took less than 30 minutes.
✅ What I loved
The industry-leading 24 to 48 hour turnaround genuinely works. Value is excellent, with quality at every price level starting around $225. The shop specializes in classic British construction with full canvas chest pieces, structured shoulder lines, and hand-finished details throughout. Worldwide shipping after collection is a nice touch. The historic Bang Rak location means you can combine a fitting with a walk through one of Bangkok’s most interesting neighborhoods. It sits at 1346 Charoen Krung 42, open daily from 9:00 to 22:00, an easy stop if you’re already wandering that stretch of the river near the big hotels.
⚠️ What to watch out for
The shop is on a busy stretch of Charoen Krung with no dedicated parking, and the storefront is easy to miss; I walked past it on my first attempt. The fitting room is basic, this is a working tailor, not a boutique. During peak periods, communication by email can be slow; I had to follow up twice via WhatsApp before getting a reply. And while the heritage is genuine, the location on a busy road means street noise carries into the fitting area.
🏅 Category Winner: Best Heritage Craftsmanship & Hotel Service
Eternal Bespoke Tailor
Location: 1055 Si Lom Rd, Silom, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500 (Under State Tower / Lebua)
Eternal Bespoke sits underneath State Tower (the Lebua hotel) in Silom, one of the most recognizable addresses in the city. Mr. Simon runs the shop and has built a 5.0 Google rating, which I was initially suspicious of but came to believe after my visit.
✅ What I loved
The 24 to 72 hour turnaround is real and the quality holds up. The team works from your photo reference; email a jacket you love, watch them replicate the cut exactly, and they pack your order within 24 hours, often hand-delivering to your hotel. Hotel pick-up and delivery is offered, which is huge for travelers. Measurements are stored on file, and reordering via WhatsApp genuinely works; I tested it. The location is spectacular if you’re staying riverside, and it’s just a 5-minute walk from BTS Saphan Taksin. Over 500 suits shipped to clients in 30+ countries worldwide.
⚠️ What to watch out for
The shop is small and can get busy, and because of the location it’s sometimes mistaken for a hotel service (which it isn’t, it’s an independent shop). Sunday is appointment-only, which caught me out. One reviewer noted a slight delay on their order, though they called it acceptable, worth bearing in mind if you’re on a tight schedule. Also, the entry-level fabrics at $150 are fine but basic; the shop shines at the $250+ level. And while the State Tower location is iconic, the building itself isn’t particularly well-maintained, which can make the approach feel less polished than the shop deserves.
🏅 Category Winner: Best Iconic Silom Location
Reign Custom Tailors
Location: 14 to 16 Decho Rd, Silom, Suriya Wong, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500
Reign bills itself as the only full-service custom tailor in Bangkok, a claim I was skeptical of until I visited. They’ve been operating for over two decades, and the experience shows in the pattern work and the fitting process.
✅ What I loved
The fabric library is impressive, 650+ premium options including Super 110-180 wool, Egyptian and Swiss cotton. Canvas interior construction with fine trims and hand-finishing. 115+ positive reviews and a 4.9/5 Google rating. The service is genuinely accommodating; they understand travel schedules can be unpredictable and are ready to adjust appointment slots. They also excel at women’s suits, with timely, precise adjustments and the ability to deliver on very specific styles and colors. Sunday hours are available (12:00 PM to 6:00 PM), and online ordering is supported.
⚠️ What to watch out for
The shop is on Decho Road, a slightly awkward location if you’re not staying in Silom; it’s not as walkable from the main hotel cluster as the Charoen Krung shops. It’s appointment-only, which can be inconvenient if you’re in town briefly and decide last-minute. And the pricing ($320+ for custom suits) is at the higher end for what is a relatively small operation. The shop is newer than the heritage houses, which means fewer long-term references, a small risk factor. I also found the showroom a bit cramped during my visit.
🏅 Category Winner: Best Contemporary Custom Design
📊 How I Rank the Best Tailors in Silom
My rankings for the best tailors in Silom are based on comprehensive evaluation across five weighted criteria:
🎯 How to Reach the Best Tailors in Silom
By BTS Skytrain (Recommended)
The BTS Silom Line and MRT Blue Line both serve the district, giving Silom the densest transit network of any Bangkok tailoring area:
- BTS Sala Daeng: Central Silom Road access, direct connection to MRT Silom
- BTS Chong Nonsi: Nearest station to Reign Custom Tailors (#6) on Decho Road
- MRT Silom: Interchange with BTS Sala Daeng, direct access to central Silom Road
- MRT Sam Yan: Access to the northern edge of Silom and Chulalongkorn University area
- MRT Hua Lamphong: Northern access to Chinatown and Bang Rak riverside
💡 Pro Tip: For Om Fashion (#1) and Suit Tailor Silom – Sam Bespoke (#3), both inside the Royal Orchid Sheraton, use BTS Saphan Taksin and take the free hotel shuttle from Sathorn Pier. For Woolrich Bespoke (#2) on Silom Soi 14, get off at BTS Sala Daeng and walk 8 minutes down Silom Road. For Eternal Bespoke (#5) under State Tower, use BTS Saphan Taksin and walk 5 minutes.
By Taxi or Ride-Hailing
Grab and Bolt operate extensively throughout Silom. During business hours (10 AM to 5 PM) and evenings (6 PM to 9 PM), Silom traffic can be heavy, so budget extra time. For tailors in the Charoen Krung Road area near the Chao Phraya River (Om Fashion #1, Sam Bespoke #3, Bangrak Bespoke #4, Eternal Bespoke #5), consider the Chao Phraya Express Boat as a scenic alternative from central Bangkok piers.
Walking Between Ranked Silom Tailors
The best tailors in Silom cluster within a compact radius. Om Fashion (#1) and Sam Bespoke (#3) at the Royal Orchid Sheraton, Woolrich (#2) on Silom Soi 14, Bangrak Bespoke (#4) on Charoen Krung, and Eternal Bespoke (#5) under State Tower are all within a 15 minute walk of each other. Reign Custom Tailors (#6) on Decho Road is a short taxi or BTS ride away. This walkability makes comparison shopping easy during a single Silom visit.
Essential Tips for Visiting the Best Tailors in Silom
🏨 Stay in a Silom Hotel
If Silom is your primary Bangkok destination, book a hotel in the district. Lebua at State Tower, Royal Orchid Sheraton, Mandarin Oriental, and Peninsula Bangkok all sit steps from the best tailors in Silom. Om Fashion (#1) and Sam Bespoke (#3) are both inside the Royal Orchid Sheraton, and Eternal Bespoke (#5) is at the base of State Tower. This proximity eliminates travel friction between fittings.
⚡ Leverage the Express Turnaround
Silom’s tailors specialize in fast service for business travelers. Sam Bespoke (#3) offers 12 to 24 hour express suits, among the fastest in the district. Woolrich (#2) offers 24 hour express. Bangrak Bespoke (#4) and Eternal Bespoke (#5) both deliver 24 to 72 hour turnaround. If you have limited time in Bangkok, Silom is the district that can accommodate the tightest schedules without sacrificing quality.
💼 Bring Business Reference Materials
Silom tailors focus on business and formal wear, so bring reference photos of executive-appropriate cuts. A photo of a suit you like from a Western magazine, business publication, or a well-fitting suit from home helps establish the visual language of your commission. The first-timer’s guide has a full preparation checklist.
💰 Budget Expectations
The best tailors in Silom range from $150 (Eternal Bespoke entry pricing) to $1,200 for premium fabric bespoke. Budget $250 to $500 for excellent quality tailoring at Om Fashion, Woolrich, Sam Bespoke, or Bangrak Bespoke. Premium fabrics (Zegna, Loro Piana, Holland and Sherry) add $200 to $800 to base prices. See the full price guide for tier breakdowns.
🎩 Ask for Full Canvas Construction
The best tailors in Silom offer genuine full or half canvas construction, which produces a superior drape and longevity compared to fused construction. This is worth specifying when you consult, especially at Om Fashion, Eternal Bespoke, Bangrak Bespoke, and Woolrich where the construction quality distinguishes them from budget alternatives.
🌐 Store Measurements for Future Orders
Most top-ranked Silom tailors including Om Fashion, Woolrich, Bangrak Bespoke, and Eternal Bespoke maintain digital measurement profiles for their clients. Once your initial fitting session is complete and your suit fits perfectly, you can reorder additional garments remotely via WhatsApp or email, with worldwide shipping to your home. This is one of the most underrated advantages of choosing a top Silom tailor.
Best Tailors in Silom vs Other Bangkok Districts
Silom vs Sukhumvit District
While Sukhumvit offers greater tailor variety and contemporary styling breadth, the best tailors in Silom win on business focus, express turnaround, and hotel-based convenience for riverside travelers. Silom’s smaller, more curated tailor scene skews toward serious business commissions rather than tourism-driven work. If you are staying in a Silom or Bang Rak hotel or need a suit in 12 to 72 hours, Silom is the stronger district. For maximum selection and vibrant styling variety, the best tailors on Sukhumvit guide covers the alternative.
Silom vs Siam / Shopping Mall Tailors
Siam’s mall-based tailors inside MBK and Siam Paragon serve tourist convenience, while the best tailors in Silom serve professional discretion. The Silom scene favors clients who value construction quality and heritage over shopping convenience. If you want to combine tailoring with retail, the best tailors in Siam guide covers those options. If you want serious bespoke tailoring designed around a business schedule, stay in Silom.
Silom vs Khao San Road
Khao San is the backpacker district where budget tailors churn out fused-construction suits with minimal fittings. The Bangkok tailor scams guide covers the red flags common in that area. The best tailors in Silom represent the opposite: professional master tailors with heritage, hotel service integration, and construction quality that stands up over years of wear. The price gap is small, but the quality gap is enormous.

Frequently Asked Questions: Best Tailors in Silom
The questions I get asked most about finding and working with the top-ranked tailors in Silom, Bangkok’s business district
Based on my in-person visits, Om Fashion Bespoke Tailor holds the #1 position among the best tailors in Silom with a score of 9.8/10. Located inside the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel lobby at 2 Charoen Krung Road Soi 30, it wins my Editor’s Choice award for unmatched hotel-based convenience, accessible bespoke pricing from just $175, and 2 to 3 day turnaround well-suited to business itineraries. Open 7 days a week, Monday to Saturday 10 AM until 9 PM and Sunday 10 AM until 6 PM.
All three Elite tier tailors deliver luxury bespoke standards, though each has distinct strengths. Om Fashion excels at riverside hotel-based bespoke convenience, Woolrich leads on 24-hour express turnaround with worldwide shipping, and Sam Bespoke pairs genuine 12 to 24 hour express with complete wardrobe packages from its Royal Orchid Sheraton studio.
The best tailors in Silom optimize for business travelers and hotel-based clientele, while Sukhumvit tailors serve a broader range of styles and clientele. Key differences:
- Turnaround: Silom leads on express service. Sam Bespoke (#3) offers 12 to 24 hour express, while Woolrich (#2), Bangrak Bespoke (#4), and Eternal Bespoke (#5) all offer 24 to 72 hour turnaround, faster than typical Sukhumvit standards.
- Hotel integration: Om Fashion (#1) and Sam Bespoke (#3) both operate inside the Royal Orchid Sheraton, and Eternal Bespoke (#5) sits under State Tower/Lebua. Most Silom tailors offer complimentary hotel pickup and delivery.
- Styling: Silom skews toward conservative business and formal wear. Sukhumvit offers wider variety from contemporary athletic fits to traditional bespoke.

Budget expectations vary by tier and fabric selection:
Important: Premium fabrics from mills like Ermenegildo Zegna, Loro Piana, or Holland and Sherry add $200 to $800 to base prices across all tiers. Silom offers some of the best value in Bangkok, with Om Fashion’s $175 entry price for genuine bespoke inside a five-star hotel being one of the strongest value propositions in the city.

🎯 My honest takeaway after visiting all 6 Silom tailors
Silom’s tailoring scene is smaller than Sukhumvit’s, but it’s also more focused. Every shop in this guide is genuinely competent, there’s no filler here. The top three (Om Fashion, Woolrich, and Sam Bespoke) are as good as anything you’ll find in the city at their respective price points. Om Fashion wins on location and convenience; Woolrich wins on speed and value; Sam Bespoke wins on wardrobe packages and express turnaround.
If I had to pick one shop for a single suit in Silom, I’d go with Om Fashion. The combination of the Royal Orchid Sheraton location, the $175 entry price, and the 2-3 day turnaround is hard to beat. If I needed something in 24 hours, Woolrich or Sam Bespoke. If I wanted heritage construction and a hotel fitting, Bangrak Bespoke. If I wanted something contemporary, Reign.
The single most important thing I learned: the hotel-based shops (Om Fashion, Sam Bespoke, Eternal Bespoke) are incredibly convenient, but they’re concessions rather than independent houses. If you want the full “tailor’s shop” experience, the smell of fabric, the noise of the workshop, the sense that you’re in a working atelier, go to Woolrich or Bangrak Bespoke instead. Both approaches have their merits; it just depends on what you value.
This guide to the best tailors in Silom is updated regularly as I review new shops and revisit established ones. Rankings are reviewed quarterly. For the full city-wide comparison including tailors in Sukhumvit, Siam, and other districts, see the 30 best tailors in Bangkok guide. For the largest and most varied tailoring district, see the best tailors on Sukhumvit guide. For mall-based options in central Bangkok, see the best tailors in Siam guide.
If you are considering shirts alongside your suit from one of the top-ranked tailors in Silom, the custom shirts guide covers collar styles, cuff options, and fabric choices. For understanding what construction quality to look for during fittings, the anatomy of a bespoke suit and Bangkok tailoring glossary give you the vocabulary to evaluate any tailor’s work. For guidance on avoiding common tailor scams in the Silom area, especially around Charoen Krung Road, the Bangkok tailor scams guide covers the red flags to watch for.
Disclosure: I visited all 6 tailors in person over the course of 2026. Some shops offered complimentary alterations or small discounts, which I’ve noted where relevant. No shop paid for placement in this guide. All opinions are my own.
